Rise: Stopping Violence Services
Rise: Stopping Violence Services provides non-violence programmes for men, women and young people (11-17 yrs), who use violence within their families or whanau.
Our services are available in Whanganui, Marton, Hawera and Stratford.
Programmes can be accessed as a mandatory requirement of the Family or Criminal Court or as part of a Supervision Order through the Community Probation Service. In Whanganui (only) our programmes are available free of charge by self-referral, without the need for a court order.
